Room pictures & stuff

So sorry to those of you who've been waiting for these pictures...I thought I took pictures of the finished room without all the furniture but I guess I was wrong!! So here's what the room looks like right now!! I got some detergent to wash everything & we just got the mattress today so I'll be setting that all up & pictures up in the very near future!!

Just to update you all on my last Dr's appt....everything is good! His heartbeat is great 137 bpm. They still count me as 34 weeks (so tomorrow I'll officially be 35 wks according to my Dr) but I'm sticking with 35 weeks going on 36!! Pretty much I figure if I make it to the 8th of Jan...I'll be happy! That will put me to full term!! We still need lots of diapers (size 1) but we do have some to get us started! We also need wipes, receiving blankets, towels, wash cloths & avent bottles if anyone wants to help! We have a lot of the must need items though.

I'm exhausted these days & Jeremy's & Taylor are being real big helps to me!! I've been having back pains & cramping which has not been fun! Sleep is something I have no clue what it is anymore!! Some days when he moves it hurts more than it's enjoyable! Though as much as it's a pain...I'd deal with all he dishes out just to know he's ok! I see my Dr again in 2 weeks (Jan 5th)..will update you then!

BABY SHOWER!!

Ok, I know it's been a week (& 1 day) since my baby shower but I was exhausted after the shower & wanted to relax for a few days!! We spent the whole week cleaning & I worked (on & off) all week on the chocolates as favors!! The Monday after I did try to work on resizing the pictures & seeing which ones came out good & the ones I really didn't want!! I tried doing save as to save in a different file & then I accidentally saved all!! At that point walked away & just got back to it today!! Fortunately I do have the pictures still in my camera so I can just reload them back in the computer! Plus with my belly growing it's really hard to type on my lap so I've had to use a TV tray & I have to sit up to be able to type this!! It's not very comfortable!!

With that being said...it was a great baby shower!! The games we VERY fun to play & everyone said they had a great time!! I'm so greatful for Hope & Lauren for driving alllllll that way to come...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Andria did the shower but Perianne was a big help to her so thank you Andria & Perianne for all your hard work putting all of it together & all the food & your wonderful gifts!!!

I will take some better pictures of the blankets & the quilts that were given to us so you can see the whole thing!! Also we got the stroller/car seat (finally) & we've set that up plus the snap & go stroller my mom sent so I will get pictures of them & posted probably sometime next week!! Ok so with all of that being said...I think the pictures will speak for themselves & THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR ALL OF THE GREAT GIFTS!!

56 Days & counting!!!

32 WEEKS!!!

Well here I am...in my 8th MONTH!!!! Crazy that we've made it this far!! I hope we can make it the rest of the way! Some days I don't even feel pregnant (well besides the belly)!! He really seems to like playing games with me....he likes to sleep a lot which after a while starts to freak me out a bit but then just when I start to worry...he moves to show me he's ok! The bed room is pretty much done & I will post some pictures as soon as we get it cleaned (which will be Tuesday the 1st or by Saturday the 5th)!! We're getting the carpets cleaned thru the common areas in the house & then Ayden's room! Then we can set up the crib & changing table/dresser. I have the pack 'n play all set up in our room waiting for him! This month after the baby shower we're going to get some more of the stuff needed that we don't get from the shower. We're going to get the other dresser, rocker, & stroller/car seat (it's a set) in this month (unless someone wants to get it for us...then just let us know before the 16th so we don't get it)!!
I look at his pack 'n play & wonder if we're ready for this but I know in my heart we are I think it's really just nerves getting to me! It's really weird because I didn't have so many worries when I was pregnant with Taylor & I was young & didn't have a clue what I was getting into but I had no worries really! I guess it was because I knew I had so much help! It's just Jeremy & I & he has to go back to work at some point! Speaking of work....he's going to be off work from Dec. 19th-Jan 11th (for mandatory time off during the holidays...thank god for salary!!) & then he's going to work from home Jan 18th until Ayden's born & then he'll be taking some time off...working from home when he can & then he'll be heading back to work (not sure how much time he'll be off before he has to go back)!! So he'll be able to help me get things ready before Ayden gets here!
Baby Shower is on the 12th & I'm so excited!!! For one, I'll get to see people I haven't seen for a really long while & for two, everyone who's been so supportive thru the though times from last year to now celebrating Ayden's upcoming arrival! Thank you again Andria....I don't know if I'll ever be able to thank you enough for you doing this for me!!

28 WEEKS 12 TO GO!!!

28 Weeks

Wow...first of all I want to apologize for this taking so long! I started this as a draft at the beginning of the week to get the pictures loaded & ready when I started typing! As my belly gets bigger & bigger it gets harder & harder to type! Plus...I've been trying to get paint touch-ups done & trying to get this house clean so I really haven't had much time to get this done!! Not to mention...I'm always soooo sleepy because it's hard to sleep well when you're constantly being woke up to need to roll over or needing to go to the bathroom!

Whew...so I've made it to the 3rd TRIMESTER!!!! Which means I'm really starting to FREAK out because we're not that far away from the due date but also because we don't have much of anything other than clothes & blankets!! UGH & then there's Christmas which is really putting a strain on things!! I'm getting excited for my baby shower & seeing all of my friends from out of town...though it's only going to be a few...I appreciate you coming!! I'm also still freaking out about whether or not he will even make it here!! I know that so much can still go wrong & I can't get that off of my brain no matter how hard I try! Every second he moves is a relief to me!! I pray to God EVERYDAY that I get to take him home with me & he's healthy! Please if you would...pray with me because he could use all the prayer he can get!!
We're starting our birthing class today (11/06/09) & can't wait!! I'm kinda an "old dog" of sorts when it comes to this...I've been there & done this before but I feel that I can benefit from this as sort of a "refresher" course!! Plus since this is Jeremy's first time I think he can really benefit from this!! It's only today & tomorrow which I think is weird & you have to pay $70 for it but hopefully it's worth it!

It's been 2 weeks since I took my 3 hour glucose test & I still haven't heard back from the dr so I'm assuming everything is ok...I go back to the dr on the 17th & then after that I go every 2 weeks!! YAY!!!
