Keep on ordering those ultrasounds Doc!!

Ok so yesterday we had my 5 month check-up plus the ultrasound that my Dr. had ordered because the one at Fetal Women's center one didn't give them a good look at the feet!! Well the "check-up" went well...haven't gained a whole mess of weight yet (THANK GOD!!!)!! I'm progressing nicely!! On to the ultrasound...AGAIN, they didn't get a good look at the feet because his legs were crossed!! He doesn't think there's anything wrong but would like to be sure in case we need to bring in a bone specialist at delivery!! The poor little guy looked squished (well you can't see in the profile pictures posted) in there because they made me go in with a FULL bladder (it was so full I had to empty it 3 times before we left the office)!! So because my Dr. didn't get a "great" look at the feet...they are AGAIN ordering ANOTHER ultrasound at my next appt. which will also be my glucose test time & my 6 month check-up (busy appt) but the nice thing is that they gave me my "sugar" drink (which is Fruit punch this time so maybe it won't be soooo bad) & told me I could refrigerate it so it may taste better!! I drink it right before I leave the house so I only have to wait 30 minutes after I get there to get my blood drawn!! AWESOME...I don't have to wait in the office for an hour after I drink it like I did with Taylor (they gave it to me when I went in...not to take home!!)!!!!
So back to the baby, the Dr. said he's in the 95 percentile which apparently means we have a "fat" baby!! Maybe he's just big like his daddy (not in the "fat" kinda way) or maybe I'm just feeding him well...LOL who knows?!??!!!! He's 1lb 12oz (I think...there was a lot of stuff going on in my head with the feet thing but I know for sure he's 1lb) which I guess is normal for 22 weeks so not sure why he says I have a "fat" baby??!! He says he's sticking with the 29th (which puts me at 21weeks 5 days today) because of some 7 day window but I'm sticking with the 24th (because he's big)!! I'm actually kinda stoked that my Dr. has ordered another ultrasound only because that means I get to see him AGAIN which I LOVE...so keep on ordering more!! LOL Plus I don't mind so much because I'll be far enough along where I don't have to drink a pint of water before I go in (just the nasty sugar drink...yuck)!! YAY!!!
Well that's really all for now...we still haven't gotten to painting the room yet so I have no pictures for you on that...I did organize the closet in there though!! I took pics of the last package Jeremy's mom sent (it came after I posted the last blog later that day) & some pictures of some stuff Jeremy & I bought!! PLUS, OF COURSE, MORE PICUTRES OF THE BABY (sorry the pics are grainy...it's the Dr.'s office...the other place had better pics but they probably have better machines also!)!!!! ENJOY!!!

P.S. I hope to have a name to announce soon...but Jeremy's still dragging his feet!! Someone (besides me) NEEDS to get on him!! LOL ;-)

150 days & counting....

Well today marks the 150th day!! Only 130 more days to go!! YAY!! It seems like it has flown right by but I think it's largely in part that we've only just started telling people!! Plus it feels all brand new again because he's been kicking up a storm in there!! It won't last too much longer because he's gonna start running out of room in there so I'm enjoying every little kick I feel (even if it is on my BLADDER!!!)!!! He's a little turd head because every time I put my had to where he's kicking to see if I can feel it on the outside, he stops!! So for now I'm still the only one who can feel him!! I'm hoping in about a month Jeremy will be able to feel him kicking too but we'll see! Well we still don't have a name picked out yet & it's DRIVING me nuts!! I told Jeremy that he needs an identity but Jeremy insists on waiting!! He says that this is the name he will have for the rest of his life & just doesn't want to rush it...he says it has to "simmer" though he said the name hasn't come to him yet!! COME TO HIM????? We went thru the book of names again last night & there were some more added to the "maybe" list!! I came across Ryan & Jeremy insists that we can NOT use that name due to the fact that it's his brother's middle name! Well I like that name & I gave Jeremy till the 8th month to come up with a name or Ryan he will be!! Weather Jeremy (or Justin) likes it or not!! Sorry but if I can't have Jeremiah then I want Ryan!! I don't know why, it just calls to me!! Plus I like the meaning (little king)!! So for all of you who are dying to know, you'll know NO LATER than the 8th month!! That gives Jeremy 2 months to figure it out!! I will post a poll as soon as I can so you guys can vote!! It may not be the name chosen but it could help in our decision!!Well now on to more FUN stuff!! Jeremy's mom had fun in Babies R Us last week & we're receiving the gifts as we speak!! We got the swing & the Precious Planet jumperoo on Monday & will be getting the Baby Bjorn carrier later today!! Plus we're getting some Buckeye gear for our little man & Taylor later in the week?! Not sure exactly when those will be here!! Though I CAN'T WAIT because she sent pics & they look so incredibly CUTE!!!! Thank you so very much for the wonderful gifts you have sent us Roxann!!!We're going to start painting the baby's room some time next week (we have to wait for the home people to fix the crack in the drywall) & we're getting the wood paneling next month along with all the tools (of the power kind) Jeremy needs to get it all done!! He's VERY happy about that because he's been wanting saws & all that junk for a while now so this is the perfect excuse!! We're also be painting the crib (hopefully getting a new matteress) & buying the changing table!! Plus anymore clothes & stuff we can find for a great deal!!!

20 WEEKS!!! HALFWAY THERE!!!!!!

Here's the bump!!

YAY!!! 20 WEEKS!! I've made it to the halfway point! Congrats to me!!! I actually before my ultrasound appt. would have been just 19 weeks but I'll take 20!! It has been quite the roller coaster till this point & I don't think we'll ever get off the ride! Hopefully though the ride gets a bit less scary & a lot more fun!! There 1 week & 6 days before my next appt & we get to find out what exactly the Dr wants to see & then maybe Jeremy & I can start to breath easier! We've already started buying things!! Just little stuff, well the big thing was the crib set...that was a bit expensive but it was on sale & we needed to buy it cause we didn't know how long it was going to be on sale! That was before we even found out if it was a boy!! CRAZY I know! Over the Labor Day weekend we went to Khol's & bought some CUTE jammies!! 3 to be exact! I'll take pics so you can see them! I also (a while ago) bought some huggies wipes just because they had Disney's Cars on them & I knew Jeremy would love it! Plus they were only $2.50 & I figured "why not?" you can always stock up on those cause there's no size or age (or expiration) involved so having them in stock at home is a GREAT idea!! I wish everything for babies were that easy!!!

We've now registered at Target (along with Babies R Us) & I'm working on one at Wal-Mart for those of you who are interested!

We're still working on a name though we have quite a few in the works! He's making his presents known every night which doesn't bother me AT ALL!!! I love it when he moves when I'm not laying down but I know that when I lay down I will feel him for sure (if I don't then I wake his butt up)!! I just can't wait till I feel him more & for Jeremy to feel!! I see lots of changes in Jeremy when it comes to the baby...everyday it's something new! The clothes shopping was GREAT!! Every time we go into Target now we go right to the baby section (which at first he would fight me on)!! Now if I can get him to Babies R Us with out kicking & screaming!!

The crib set we got!!

On pins & needles till the 22nd

Well my Dr's office just called & said they want to schedule an ultrasound on the day of my appt on the 22nd!! She said he wants it done because of things they couldn't see during the last one!! So now Jeremy & I are nervous about what they're looking for!! To me everything looked good...they even said that there wasn't any birth defects (well the ones they were looking for like down syndrome & spina bifida) so I was pretty happy! Everything appeared to be in working order (ie. the heart, bladder, kidneys & all the blood flow was fine)!! So what could they possibly be looking for?? They were very focused on the feet...he wouldn't stretch his legs so they couldn't get a good look at the feet (or at least that's what the girl said)!! So now I'm nervous AGAIN!! I'm trying to stay positive & hope that all is going to be just fine but I can't help thinking something's wrong! Well I have 2 weeks & 6 days to wait! It's going to be a stressful 2 weeks!!

**UPDATE** So Jeremy thinks that they're looking for something called "club foot"!! Which if that's the case...I'm not too worried! I've done the homework & it is VERY treatable!! He will have to wear like 7 casts (I think...maybe more)...it will have to be changed every 5 to 7 days & then after that he will most likely have to wear special shoes with a metal brace on it during naps & bedtime! We've searched every thing that they could be looking for but since they were so focused on the feet...we're almost 95% positive that's what they're looking for!! Just to maybe to take off some stress, I'm going to call the Dr's office tomorrow & hopefully they can ease my mind a little!! I'm really praying for something (if anything) that's small & that won't be life threatening!! We'll love our baby boy no matter if he has club foot...missing some fingers & toes or even only has 1 working leg!! It really don't matter to me! The only thing that matters is that he has the possibility to live a long & health life!! Well, that's all I have for now...I'll keep you posted on whatever I can find out!!

**Ok...I called the Dr's office & all she said was that my Dr wants to get another ultrasound just because the baby wasn't in a good position to see "everything" so they just want to try to get a better look!! I personally think that they want to look at the feet again hoping that they can get a better look...which I really hope that's it! She did say that it's nothing serious so I guess I can breath a little easier.
