So it's been 6 months already!! Crazy!! Where has the time gone?? He's doing great by learning to eat new foods (well we've only given him sweet potatoes & green beans on top of the cereal)! He loves the sweet potatoes but not so wild about the green beans though it could just be the texture of the green beans that he doesn't like! His digestive system is still getting use to the food introduction so we've been slow at introducing another food! If it wasn't said in a previous blog (sorry if it was already) but we're making our own baby food for him! It's rewarding to us knowing that we're making his food & it's not just coming from a jar (not that there's anything wrong with that & I know we'll have to use the jars when we're on vacations & stuff) plus it's waaaaaaay cheaper than buying th jars! I can make 30+ servings (1tbls per cube) for the price it would cost me to buy one or 2 jars (depending on the food being made)!!
He's still working on sitting up on his own but he's got (& has had) great head control & when he's on his tummy he shows it! He can't quite do a "push up" but he can push up using his elbows!! He's trying to scoot across the floor so crawling can be very soon!! He's been teething for a while but I'm almost positive we should be seeing teeth very soon!! He's been drooling more than before & he's been chewing on EVERYTHING that gets near his mouth or in his hands!!
Ayden is babbling up a storm & saying something that sounds like momma but I know it's just him working on his sounds right now & it doesn't mean anything at the moment! He's also got quite the personality & he definitely knows how to get your attention!! Some days I just sit & watch him play because it's waaaay more entertaining than anything you could possibly see on TV!!! LOL
Sorry there are soooooo many pictures but that's what happens when I don't update for 2 months!! YIKES! Time flies so fast that he's already another month old by the time I have time to write the blog! I will try to get the next one done next month!! NO PROMISES THOUGH!!!
